🎙️ Tiger Talk. Bentonville boys basketball head coach Kyle Pennington took over the Tigers’ program in 2024 after time at Little Rock Christian and Russellville. He’s no stranger to building success, guiding the Tigers in the same direction. He joins Alyssa Orange to share his journey and where he believes the Bentonville program is heading.

⚡️ Q3 Surge. Using a big third quarter push, Fayetteville took down Bentonville with a 80-58 win. At half, the Bulldogs held a tight 39-34 lead, but then used an 11-0 run to open the second half, led by sophomore Byron Daniels’s 22-point performance.
✈️ Takin’ Off. The Mountain Home Lady Bombers came out hot against Greenwood, taking them down with a 68-39 victory. Senior Livi Fosness delivered a dominant performance, scoring 34 points and grabbing 22 rebounds. Senior Jayla Yonkers also added 13 points for Mountain Home.
💪 Cardinal Control. Farmington basketball kept their win streak going, defeating Van Buren 64-49. Sophomore Press Taylor led the Cardinals’ effort with 23 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Senior Ethan Kennedy posted a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds, while junior Roman Simpson had 12 points of his own.
🏀 In a tight 6A-Central matchup, Bryant basketball came through in the clutch, taking down Conway, 54-52. In the Hornets’ win, senior RJ Young put up 22 points with three rebounds and two assists. Seniors Ryan Young and Camarion Bead had 13 points each. With the victory over the Wampus Cats, the Hornets improved to 11-1 in conference play.

🏀 With the No. 1 seed on the line, Har-Ber’s Samuel Hinsey delivered a standout performance, helping the Wildcats to a 76-47 win over Springdale. The senior guard put 13 points on the board, teaming up with senior Ryan Spencer to score 13 of the Wildcats’ first 16 points. The early offensive attack from Hinsey set Har-Ber up for success, helping them extend their win streak to six.
⛹️♀️ Poyen’s Kenady Barrett has been electric this post season, cementing herself as a driving force to the Lady Indians’ success. The freshman was responsible for 40 points and 15 rebounds in their semifinal win over Cutter. Her electric performance broke the state record for points scored in a regional game. She kept that going in the finals against Dierks, finishing with 30 points and 12 rebounds.
