⚽️ Game of the Week
Let’s dive right in!

🎙️ Next Steps. JJ Andrews won two state championships with LRCA during his high school career, and although it didn’t end the way he wanted, he’s grateful and ready for the next chapter. The Arkansas signee and 5-star sits down with Alyssa Orange and looks ahead to the McDonalds All-American game, getting to the Hill, watching Arkansas through March Madness and how his family has been there every step of the way.

🏀 Big Time. Little Rock Christian’s JJ Andrews has been named the 2025-2026 Arkansas Player of the Year! The Arkansas commit is set to appear in the McDonald’s All American game on March 31 after an impressive season for the Warriors. Andrews averaged 30.7 points, 16.9 rebounds, and 3.1 assists this season, helping Little Rock Christian to a 23-8 record.
💪 MVP. As only a sophomore, Farmington’s Easton McCollough has made a major impact and has been named the 2025-2026 Arkansas Player of the Year. McCollough averaged 33.3 points per game, with 7.2 assists and 5 rebounds. She played a big role in the Lady Cardinals picking up their fourth-straight state title.
👀 New Face. Fayetteville officially has a new head coach: Anthony Lucas! The former Arkansas Razorback coached at Pulaski Academy for six seasons, winning three state championships and going 48-16. He follows after Casey Dick, who led the Bulldogs since 2019.
⚽️ Kicking It Off. Bentonville soccer picked another dub for their record, taking down Fort Smith Northside, 3-1. Senior Wyatt Marksberry had himself a night, scoring two goals for the Tigers. Senior CJ Salinas also scored a goal for Bentonville, helping the Tigers record their fourth win of the season.
⚾️ Locked In. Senior Jake Taylor had a dominant outing for Rogers, throwing six innings to help the Mounties defeat Fayetteville, 8-2. The left-hander only allowed one hit, striking out 10 Bulldogs. Rogers’ hitters were reliable, scoring five runs in the first inning alone.

⚾️ Senior Connor Davis provided a much-needed spark for Bentonville, getting their bats going to take a 7-0 win over Bentonville West. He started off the sixth inning with a hit, which started a big offensive inning for the Tigers. Later on in the matchup, he knocked two more runs in. Defensively, Davis was locked in, turning a key double play.
