📈Looking Up. The 2025 season was a tough one for the Fort Smith Northside Grizzlies and first year head coach Dom Mirocke. However, they are carrying motivation and growth into a 2026 year they believe will prove who they are on the football field. In addition to a handful of players that will be big contributors on the field, Mirocke believes this upcoming season will be better than 2025. He sits down with our Alyssa Orange.

🔥 Hot Shooting. Providence Academy has found its next leader, hiring veteran coach Greg White as its new boys basketball coach. White, who previously led Bentonville West to a 26-win season and a 6A-West Conference championship, takes over a Patriots program coming off a 26-7 season and a 3A state quarterfinal appearance.

🏀 New Court, Same Goal. Monty Patel is moving forward as the new boys basketball coach at North Little Rock after a successful four-year run at eStem. Patel led the Mets to back-to-back 4A state tournament appearances while compiling a 76-65 record, taking over one of Arkansas' top programs historically, with 10 state titles.

⚽Bentonville soccer standout Wyatt Marksberry was recently named the 2025-26 Arkansas Gatorade Boys Soccer Player of the Year, one of the state's highest individual honors recognizing excellence in athletics. The senior finished an impressive season by leading the Tigers to the 6A state championship, scoring twice in the title match while earning 6A-West Conference Player of the Year. He will continue his soccer career at John Brown University this fall.

🏈 Shiloh football is looking towards next season, looking to continue their success while moving up to the 7A conference. Last season, the Saints finished with an 11-2 record, only suffering one conference loss. They took the state title last year, knocking out defending state champion, Greenwood, with a 70-50 win. Shiloh recently hosted the Southwest Elite 7-on-7 tournament, finishing 4-2 against a talented field.
