🎙️ Leaving a Legacy. After leading the Fayetteville Bulldogs volleyball program for 22 years and winning eight state championships, head coach Jessica Phelan is stepping down. Her impact on the program goes way beyond the banners and titles. She made a lasting impression on the players she coached on and off the court. Phelan joins Alyssa Orange to look back on her career, and what’s next for her and the Fayetteville Volleyball Program.

🏆 Making History. Bentonville West’s girls made history Friday, earning their first-ever win over rival Bentonville with a 48-41 victory. With the win, the Lady Wolverines (17-3) surpassed their previous season-high win total.

🎯 Staying Perfect. Fayetteville remains unbeaten in 6A-West play, pulling away for a 55-41 win over Springdale. Senior Derrick Hudson led the Bulldogs’ effort with 18 points, while sophomore Byron Daniels added 16 to improve to 6-0 in conference action.

🏀 Mountie Madness. Rogers is back in the win column following a 72-49 win over Fort Smith Southside. Sophomore Owen Crawford knocked down six three-pointers and finished with 18 points to lead the Mounties, while senior Gus Krout also scored 18.

🏀 Bentonville basketball pulled out a 97-93, four-overtime win over Rogers, bouncing back from a tough loss and repeatedly delivering in clutch moments. Junior DeMarion Lee led the way with 32 points, while junior LeShaun Gochett added 24 and sealed the win with late free throws. 🏀 Junior DeMarion Lee delivered a dominant performance in Bentonville’s 97-93, four-overtime win over Rogers. Lee poured in 32 points when the Tigers needed it most, helping push the game into overtime and keeping Bentonville alive through a back-and-forth battle.

⛹️‍♀️ Senior Camryn Schmidt has played an important role in Northside’s 14-2 campaign this season. In the Grizzlies’ 47-19 win over Rogers Heritage, the Tulsa commit led Northside with 16 points and six rebounds.

🏀 Little Rock Parkview is 7-0 in 6A-Central play! The Patriots took down Little Rock Catholic with a commanding 70-23 victory, with senior Jacob Lanier scoring 31 points with seven rebounds. Senior Ayden Hansberry added 15 points, while senior Josh Wills had 11.
