🏈 Game of the Week
Let’s dive right in!

🎙️ Varsity Vibe Today. Week 3 of high school football brings with it some big time non-conference games before conference play begins next week. Join Alyssa Orange and Brey Cook as they highlight some of Friday's best action.

🏈 Patriots vs. Panthers. The Parkview Patriots will travel to face Benton in a matchup of 1-1 teams. The Patriots and Panthers have a common opponent — both of their losses were to Bryant. Benton had a 24-7 lead against North Little Rock before the game was cut short, while the Patriots are looking to come back after a 49-6 loss to Bryant. Kickoff is set for 7:00 pm and can be watched here.
🏐 Cardinal Comeback. Farmington volleyball came back in five sets to take down Siloam Springs (20-25, 21-25, 26-24, 26-24, 15-8) in a reverse sweep. Junior Emmerson Rehkopf led the Lady Cardinals’ efforts with 27 kills and 18 digs. Sophomore Emma Gore added 14 kills and 18 digs, while Laney Brisiel boasted 11 kills of her own.
💪 Game Changer. Rogers Braxton Lindsey played a key role in the Mounties’ 84-40 win over Sheridan. The senior, who has committed to BYU, finished the game with four receptions that total to 37 yards. Defensively, Lindsey also had a quarterback sack.

Junior Ryan Adjam played a huge part in Bentonville West’s 41-7 win against Muskogee (OK), hauling in four catches for 98 yards and two touchdowns. Both of his trips to the end zone came in the first half, helping the Wolverines build a 34-0 lead. Adjam’s 62-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Tre Thompson was the longest of the night. Bentonville West finished with 424 yards of total offense, and Adjam’s performance kept the Wolverines offense firing on all cylinders.

The Fayetteville Bulldogs will travel across state lines for just their second-ever matchup with Texas High. Last season, the two teams played a tight game, with Texas ultimately winning 55-54.
The Bulldogs are 2-0 this season after putting up 66 points on Cabot last week. Senior quarterback Hank Hendrix performed well with 472 yards and four touchdowns. Texas High is 2-1, coming off of a 35-21 loss against Midlothian Heritage. Senior quarterback Kameron Wrightner passed for 302 yards and three touchdowns, while senior running back Ahmad Moore rushed for 85 yards. The game will kick off at 7 p.m. and can be watched here.

🏈 Performance Athlete of the Week. Hard work and grit are what it takes to excel in sports and every week, we’re highlighting those who have put the work in to get better. This week, our Performance Athlete of the Week is Farmington wide receiver Brady Richards. In his first game of the season, Richards had 13 catches for 199 yards. With SRD, he has shaved 0:32 off of his 40 YD, 0:47 off his pro agility, added 8.67” to his broad jump, and added 5.5” to his vertical! To learn more about the program, visit srdathlete.com.
