🎙️ Varsity Vibe Today. Week 5 of the high school footballs season heats up on today's episode of Varsity Vibe Today. Alyssa Orange and Brey Cook look ahead to the week's biggest games, including the Game of the Week between Rogers & Fayetteville.

🏈 Bombers vs Saints. Mountain Home will travel to Shiloh Christian tonight for a 6A matchup. The Bombers are coming off a big 39-21 win against the Southside Mavericks to stay undefeated, and their offense has been reliable all season, averaging 38.3 points per game. Shiloh Christian enters off of a 35-24 loss to Greenwood. But despite the loss, junior quarterback Cole Creighton threw for 208 yards and one touchdown, while sophomore running back Max Eldridge rushed for 113 yards and had three touchdowns. Kickoff is set for 7:00 pm and can be watched here.
🏐 True Grit. Farmington volleyball powered through the loss of starting setter Emily Hedrick to beat Shiloh Christian 3-1. Junior setter Kolie Beach stepped in and performed well with 35 assists, while junior outside hitter Emmerson Rehkopf had 16 kills, 13 digs, and three aces. Sophomore outside hitter Emma Gore added nine kills and a team-best of 15 digs.
🧹 Clean Sweep. The Fayetteville volleyball team dominated the Lori Endicott Invitational on Saturday, finishing undefeated in the tournament to move to 13-2 this season. The Lady Bulldogs didn’t lose a set all day, beating out Eldon, Carthage, Willard, and Marshfield. Senior Piper Batie led the team with 30 kills and 31 assists, while sophomore Kenzy Hogue had 24 kills.

🏈 Greenwood senior running back Wesley Raggio provided a spark in last week’s 35-24 win against Shiloh Christian. Raggio led the Bulldogs in rushing yards with 115 yards on 21 carries with two touchdowns. His 3-yard touchdown late in the third quarter solidified the win for the Bulldogs. Raggio’s consistent presence on the field this season has helped Greenwood maintain their perfect 4-0 record. The Bulldogs will travel to Russellville tonight to face the Cyclones. Kickoff is set for 7:00 pm and can be watched here.

🏈 The Fayetteville Bulldogs host Rogers tonight for their homecoming game. The Mounties, who are undefeated so far, bring an efficient offense led by senior quarterback Jeff Regan. Regan finished with 108 yards on four carries with two touchdowns against Fort Smith Northside last week. He also passed for 70 yards and threw an additional touchdown.
The Bulldogs have their own leader in the backfield in junior quarterback Hank Hendrix. Hendrix has looked strong so far this season, showcasing his accurate arm and quick rushing ability. Fayetteville is looking to bounce back after a 48-18 loss against Bentonville West in their conference opener. Kickoff is schedule for 7:00 pm and can be watched here.

⛹️♀️ Performance Athlete of the Week. Improvement matters. Especially for young athletes looking to excel in sports. Every week, we’re highlighting those who have put the work in to get better. This week, our Performance Athlete of the Week is Jordan Logue. Farmington’s senior running has put in the work, cutting 0.36 seconds off his 40-yard dash, 0.31 seconds off his 20-yard dash, and 0.43 seconds off his pro agility time. He also showed major explosive growth, adding 9.0 inches to his broad jump and 4.1 inches to his vertical. To learn more about the program, visit srdathlete.com.

🏈 Undefeated Bryant hosts 3-1 Little Rock Christian in a 7A battle later tonight. Bryant looked strong last week on all sides of the ball, holding opponent Little Rock Central to just five total yards in the first half. Senior running back TJ Hodges scored twice, while senior linebacker Jakore Smith blocked a punt and returned an interception.
The Warriors enter tonight’s matchup off of an extremely dominant offensive performance, putting up 56 points last week against Cabot. Senior quarterback Kemp Keller threw six touchdowns and rushed for a seventh. Receivers Chris Pickens had two touchdowns and Tristian Watson had three. Kickoff is set for 7:00 pm and can be watched here.
