🎙️ Bulldog Blueprint. Fayetteville Softball head coach Ed Duncan has been with the Bulldogs program for 10 years, and is now in his fourth season at the helm. He joins Alyssa Orange to share his love for softball, how he got into the sport after being a dual-sport athlete in football and baseball, and how he found his passion for art at a young age.

⚾️ Wolverine Win. Bentonville West used a big fifth inning to pull away from Rogers Heritage, securing a 10-6 win in conference play. Junior Jeremiah Jones delivered a key hit with a two RBI double that sparked a five-run inning. Senior Will Geiger finished with two hits and an RBI, also earning the win on the mound, pitching 6 2/3 innings.

🐾 Panther Power. Cabot softball recorded another win this week, taking down Bentonville West with a 5-2 win. The Lady Wolverines committed three errors, allowing Cabot to capitalize on extra opportunities. Sophomore pitcher Penelope Bass earned the victory, allowing just two runs in 5 innings of work. Freshman Emersyn Ellis closed the game, throwing two scoreless innings.

🏆 On Top. Bentonville West soccer picked up a key victory, taking down Fayetteville 2-1 to move into first place in the 6A-West conference. Junior Logan Carter scored off an assist from junior Christian Burgos and later assisted on senior Mateo Gomez-Soto’s goal for the Wolverines, who improved to 5-1-2 overall.

⚾️ Pea Ridge’s Chris Baren delivered a standout performance in the Blackhawks’ 13-3 win over Gravette, making an impact both at the plate and on the mound. The sophomore went 4-for-5 to lead Pea Ridge’s 15-hit attack. Additionally, he earned the win in relief after a pitching a scoreless seventh inning.

⚾️ Shiloh Christian broke open a tight game with a six-run third inning, cruising to a 12-2 run rule victory over Gentry in 4A conference play. Sophomore Oakley Thompson’s RBI single gave the Saints the lead in the third inning, followed by a three-run homer by junior Jacob Maynard to keep the momentum going. On the mound, senior Holden Wofford struck out seven in five innings, allowing just two hits.
