🎙️ A Look Ahead. The Bentonville Tigers fell in the 2025 7A state title game to Bryant, and as they look to 2026, there are a lot of new roles to fill with the talent returning for the upcoming season. Alyssa Orange and head coach Jody Grant look ahead at what the Tigers want to accomplish during Spring Football.

💪 Battin’ Bulldogs. Fayetteville brought the bats early, rolling past Bentonville West 11-3 in 6A-West play. Junior Tanner Davison led the Bulldogs’ offensive effort with two home runs, a double and three RBIs, including a solo shot in the first inning. Senior Will Stewart added a two-run homer in the second before Fayetteville broke things open with a five-run fourth inning.

⚽️ Offensive Effort. Rogers Heritage is headed to the state soccer tournament after a huge 3-0 win over Springdale. Senior Jude Abohammdan, senior Lindsey Brunell, and sophomore Sophia Wishon each scored for the War Eagles, while Abohammdan and junior Misty Landverde added assists in the playoff-clinching victory. Heritage improved to 6-6-2 in 6A-West play with the win.

⬆️ Moving Up. Springdale soccer picked up a huge win, shutting out Rogers Heritage 4-0 and beating the defending 6A state champs. Juniors Joel Carranza, Aaron Rodriguez, Junior Rodriguez, and Daniel Salas each scored for the Red Dogs, while junior Alex Gomez and Salas added assists in the dominant offensive performance.

⚾️ Bentonville’s Cade Campbell delivered his one his best performances of the season, leading the Tigers to an 11-1 win over Springdale. The senior made an impact on both sides of the ball, recording three RBIs while throwing a complete five innings. He shut down the Bulldogs’ batters, allowing just four hits.

⚾️ The Rogers Mounties hold the top spot in the 6A-West, adding another win to their record with a 9-1 victory over Fort Smith Southside. Senior Ty Burnham had a 4-RBI night, while senior Jake Taylor struck out six in five innings on the mound. With the win, Rogers moves to a 14-2 record in league playing, clinching a first-round bye headed into the conference tournament.
