🏈 Big Return. The new Fayetteville High School head football coach joins the show to talk about taking over one of the biggest jobs in Arkansas high school football, his championship run at Pulaski Academy, the pressure of replacing Casey Dick, and the vision he has for the Purple Dogs moving forward. From Razorback legend status to leading one of the state's premier programs, Lucas breaks down what it takes to build a championship culture in Fayetteville.
🏈 Preparing the Future. Former Fayetteville standout Isaiah Sategna III returned home this month to invest in the next generation of Bulldogs, hosting his first youth football camp at Fayetteville High School. The camp gave young athletes the opportunity to sharpen their skills through drills, games, and mentorship from one of the program's most accomplished alumni.
🥎 New Era. The Siloam Springs softball program is beginning a new era, hiring Erica Derryberry as the next head coach. Derryberry brings an impressive résumé to the Panthers, including more than a decade of travel softball coaching experience and four regional championships at Bartlesville (OK). She takes over for Emily Grace Ruggeri, who spent seven seasons leading Siloam Springs before accepting an assistant coaching position at Rogers.
🏈 After a strong junior season, Pulaski Academy's Javion Walker is poised to be one of Arkansas' top playmakers this fall. The senior running back recorded 88 receptions for 860 receiving yards and seven touchdowns last season, serving as a reliable target in the Bruins' high-powered offense.
⚽️ Siloam Springs striker Mesa Broquard capped off a remarkable high school career with another dominant season, scoring 59 goals to lead the Panthers to the Class 5A semifinals. She finished her time at Siloam with an astounding 161 goals, and will continue her soccer career at Oklahoma Wesleyan.
