🎙️ Friday Kickoff. The 2026 high school football season is right around the corner, and as we get fall camps starting in the next few weeks, Alyssa Orange and Kyle Sutherland look at the bigger storylines around the state, what all the coaching movement means for the sport, and which players to keep an eye on.

💪 Back to Work. After a challenging 2025 season, Rogers Heritage is looking to turn the page as the War Eagles begin the 2026 season on Aug. 28 against Camdenton (MO). Heritage finished last season with a 1-9 overall record and a 1-6 mark in conference play, but a new season brings a fresh opportunity for success.
😤 Pioneer Pride. The Gentry Pioneers will hit the road to open the 2026 season, traveling to Paris for their season opener on Aug. 28. Gentry is coming off a strong 2025 campaign that saw the Pioneers finish 7-4 overall with a 4-3 record in 4A conference play.

🏈 Jonesboro senior Kameron Davis enters the 2026 season as one of the Hurricane’s key players on offense. Davis hauled in 66 receptions for 1,170 yards and 13 touchdowns last season, showcasing his consistency as a go-to target. With his speed and gift for finding the end zone, he'll once again be a key piece of the Jonesboro offense as they look to make a deep run this season.
