🎙️ Breaking It Down. The Arkansas state tournaments are in the books and now 24 teams are heading to Hot Springs, hoping to bring home a state title. We saw upsets, thrillers, drama and excitement over the last week — Alyssa Orange and Alex Hall break down how they see the action unfolding in the Spa City.

🏀 Parkview Power. Little Rock Parkview ended Benton’s hopes of another state title with a 55-43 victory to advance to Hot Springs. The Patriots jumped ahead early — leading 30-22 at the half — and never let go of the rope. Senior Jacob Lanier led Parkview with 23 points.
🔒 Locked Down. Defending 6A state champ Bryant survived and advanced, taking down Conway 68-43. The Hornets’ defense shined, forcing six turnovers in the first quarter and turning them into 11 points. Camarion Bead put up 15 points, six assists, and three rebounds in the win.
✅ Win Streak. The Lady Cardinals are finals bound! Farmington dispatched Little Rock Christian 75-56 to advance to the state championship game. Sophomore Easton McCollough recorded a game-high 29 points to help the Lady Cardinals pick up their 18th consecutive win:

⛹️♀️ Pea Ridge punched their ticket to the 4A state championship game with a 45-39 win over Joe T. Robinson. The real star of the game was Brooklyn Winn — the senior knocked down five 3-pointers in the contest and led the way with 15 points. Senior Makenzie Stites had 13 points and junior Presley Hudson added 11. The Lady Hawks will face off against Pulaski Academy in the state title game at 6 pm on March 13.

🏀 Bryant basketball looked electric against Conway, continuing their dominance in the postseason. The Hornets led the entire game, largely due to senior RJ Young’s standout performance. In a well-rounded effort for the defending state champs, Young scored 20 points, grabbed four rebounds, blocked two shots, and added two assists.
⛹️♀️ North Little Rock is headed to the state championship game, and senior standout Katie Fimple has played a huge part in the Charging Wildcats’ success on both sides of the court. The OBU commit has been a leader the entire season, most recently in the 44-39 win over Northside that sent them to Hot Springs.
