๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Varsity Vibe Today. The Benton Panthers defeated Mountain Home in a 63-49 thriller Friday night to advance to the semifinals of the high school football playoffs. Now Benton has the challenge of trying to take down the Greenwood Bulldogs. Greenwood head coach Chris Young joins us to look ahead at the matchup, and Benton quarterback Drew Davis talks about his nine-touchdown night against the Bombers.

๐Ÿˆ Wampus Win. Conway outlasted Bentonville West Friday night, taking down the Wolverines, 55-44. Despite surrendering two kick-off returns for touchdowns and a blocked punt score, the Wampus Cats racked up 329 rushing yards en route to the win. Senior running back Tre Harris ran for 166 yards and one touchdown and fellow senior Amari Davis ran for 163 yards with two fourth-quarter scores. With the win, Conway will make their fifth-straight trip to the 7A semifinals, where they will face undefeated Bentonville.

๐Ÿ’ช Mountie Madness. For the first time since 2006, the Rogers Mounties are headed to the semifinals after a dominant 35-0 shutout win over Little Rock Christian Academy. The Mounties were led senior quarterback Jeff Regan, who racked up 378 yards and four touchdowns. The Rogers defense was equally impressive, forcing six interceptions and holding the Warriors to just 138 rushing yards.

โšœ๏ธ Shiloh Advances. Shiloh Christian escaped a close game against El Dorado, coming away with a 24-21 win. The Saints built a 24-7 lead going into the fourth quarter, but El Dorado responded with two late touchdowns to tighten the gap. The Wildcats attempted an onside kick, but Shiloh recovered and was able to kneel out the final seconds.

๐Ÿˆ The Parkview Patriots rallied in the fourth quarter to defeat Harrison, 21-17. Senior running back Kyrick Fulks had three catches for 58 yards, providing a spark on offense. The Patriots delivered a clutch defensive stop on their own 15-yard line, preventing a Harrison score and shifting the momentum. From there, junior quarterback Montrell Thompson put together an 85-yard scoring drive, finishing it off with a 3-yard rushing touchdown to give the Patriots the victory.

๐Ÿˆ Benton senior quarterback Drew Davis had an explosive performance in the Panthersโ€™ 63-49 win over Mountain Home. Davis totaled nine touchdowns, throwing for six and rushing for three more as Benton racked up 608 total yards of offense. He completed 32-of-43 passes for 387 yards and rushed for 127 yards as he guided the Panthers into the 6A semi-finals.

๐Ÿ€ Pea Ridge basketballโ€™s Brooklyn Winn has been reliable this season, helping the Blackhawks pick up two wins so far this season. In their 58-27 win over Providence Academy, the senior shooting guard scored 13 points with six rebounds and two assists. Winn has embraced a leadership role on the court, setting the tone with consistent energy and effort on both sides of the ball.

๐Ÿˆ Bryant handled business Friday night, building a 35-0 halftime lead and ultimately taking a 42-0 victory over Fayetteville. Senior quarterback Jeremiah Motes helped Bryant get off to a fast start, throwing three touchdown passes in the first half. The Hornet defense held strong, shutting out a Fayetteville offense that has been averaging more than 50 points over their last four games this season. Bryant will go on to face the Rogers Mounties, who shut out Little Rock Christian Academy 35-0.
