⚽️ Recapping the Season. ICYMI: The Bentonville West girls soccer team's season came to an end at the State Finals game, falling to Mount St. Mary's 4-1. But despite the loss in the championship game, it was a season full of success, growth, and relationship building. Alyssa Orange and Kerry Castillo recap the year in the final episode of Kickin' It With The Wolverines.

🥎 Moving Up. Har-Ber is staying in-house as former assistant and Wildcat standout Honesty Holt was named the program’s new softball coach following Randy Osnes’ retirement. Holt has spent the past three seasons helping build one of the state’s top programs and now takes over a team expected to return several key contributors, including Missouri commit Cyarah Dotts and all-state player Jasmine Thomas.

🫡 Wolcott Era. Prairie Grove has hired longtime Crossett coach Dustin Wolcott as the new athletic director, bringing in a leader with 15 years of head baseball coaching experience and a strong background in school administration. He replaces retiring AD David Torres as Prairie Grove looks to continue building momentum across its athletic programs.

🏈 Down to the Wire. Sapulpa (OK) ended an undefeated day at the Har-Ber 7-on-7 Invitational with a tight 25-23 win over Broken Arrow (OK) in the championship game. Despite trailing by four points with nine seconds left, quarterback Braddox Broughton connected on two passes, including the game-winning touchdown to Brodie Chalakee.

🏈 Pulaski Academy took the crown in this year’s Shootout of the South 7-on-7 tournament with a 36-31 win over defending champion Keller (TX). The Bruins hadn’t won since 2016, but went undefeated this weekend under first-year head coach Mark Kelley, picking up wins over Episcopal Collegiate, Van Alstyne (TX), Parklane Academy (MS) and Little Rock Christian.

🏈 Pulaski Academy’s sophomore quarterback Caleb Sullivan led the Bruins to a championship at the Shootout of the South 7-on-7 championship, going undefeated against top competition, including a 36-31 win over defending champion Keller (TX). His standout performance earned him Top Gun honors as the tournament’s top quarterback.

🥎 Bentonville’s Audrey Eiland quickly turned an unexpected opportunity into a breakout season, helping lead the Tigers to the 6A state championship. After an injury forced Bentonville to reshuffle its lineup early in the season, Eiland stepped into the starting catcher role and did extremely well, earning all-conference honors in the 6A-West. She finished her season hitting .417 with 8 home runs and 41 RBI.
