๐๏ธ Varsity Vibe Today. After 131 yards and three touchdowns in Greenbrierโs win over Harrison on Friday, senior running back Enoch Assan is continuing to put up impressive numbers on the football field, and a big reason why Greenbrier is 9-0 heading into the final week of the regular season. As our Lindsey Boys Athlete of the Week, he joins the show to talk about his performance and why Greenbrier is primed to do something special in the post season. Plus, Rogersโ Braxton Lindsey looks back at the Mountiesโ season and how they are focused on Heritage to set themselves up for the best position possible for a postseason run.
๐ถ Bulldogs Dominate. Fayetteville picked up their second-straight victory Friday night with a 50-14 win over Rogers Heritage. The Bulldogs got out to a 36-0 lead at the half. Sophomore receiver CJ Bailey wasted no time, returning a 70-yard kickoff for a touchdown. Senior running back Kaleb Johnson picked up two touchdowns as well, including at 37-yard rush. Junior quarterback Hank Hendrix threw for 245 yards and three touchdowns. Meanwhile, the Bulldog defense held Heritage to just 40 yards in the first half.
๐ค Outlaw Pride. Dierks High School has been awarded a $1 million football stadium renovation through the T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights contest. The community rallied behind the school, gaining over 2 million votes in this national competition. The renovation will bring major updates to Outlaw Stadium, giving student-athletes facilities they can utilize long term.
๐ Champions Crowned. Volleyball season came to an exciting close over the weekend. Conway repeated as Class 6A champions, rallying past Fayetteville for back-to-back titles, while Pulaski Academy made history with its first-ever state championship in Class 4A. Mansfield continued its dynasty, claiming a ninth title. Hackett took down Taylor in three sets to claim the 2A title. Farmington fell to Marion in the 5A title game, with the Lady Patriots ending a 10-year drought.

๐ Bentonville West played a dominant game against Northside Friday, taking down the Grizzlies 56-0. The Wolverines started out hot, leading by 21 after the first quarter. Senior quarterback Tre Thompson was sharp, completing 14-of-18 passes for 162 yards and three touchdowns. Junior receiver Ryan Adjams led the receivers with two touchdowns of his own. On defense, Bentonville West held Northside to 74 total yards and forced multiple turnovers.

๐ Senior running back Enoch Assan powered Greenbrier to a 49-20 win over Harrison Friday night. Assan carried the ball 16 times for 131 yards and three touchdowns, averaging eight yards per carry. His explosive runs set the tone early for Greenbrier, with the Panthers jumping out to a 35-7 halftime lead.
๐ Senior outside hitter Kaylee Ward earned tournament MVP honors after leading Mansfield to a 3A state volleyball title. Ward racked up 19 kills in the Tigersโ four-set victory over Harding Academy. Wardโs impressive play and clutch block on the match point solidified Mansfieldโs ninth state title.

๐ Pulaski Academy and Conway volleyball shined in the state volleyball tournament with both teams bringing home state titles. In the 6A class, Conway rallied and took down Fayetteville 3-1. Tournament MVP and senior outside hitter Wren Jones led the team with 25 kills and 14 digs. On the 4A side, Pulaski Academy made history with their first state title after taking down Jonesboro Westside in five sets. With the win, the Bruins closed out their season on a nine-match winning streak.
