🎙️ Varsity Vibe Today. Dane Renick helped secure the win for Bentonville West on Friday night against North Little Rock with an interception in the endzone with 10 seconds left in the game. We catch up with Renick about the play and look ahead to a matchup with Conway this Friday. Plus, the Fayetteville Bulldogs put on an offensive show Friday night against Pulaski Academy. Wide Receiver Charles Whitlow is our Lindsey Boys Athlete of the Week.

🐶 Bulldogs Bark Back. Springdale put on an offensive show against Cabot, racking up 285 rushing yards in a 52-31 win. Junior running back Wilder Lherisse and senior running back Randell Orellana led the run game and senior quarterback Carson Hayter racked up 151 yards of his own with five touchdowns. The Bulldogs advance to play Bentonville this weekend.

💪 Shutout Secured. Farmington blanked Harding Academy, 44-0, dominating in all three phases. The Cardinals look strong offensively, rushing 153 yards with senior quarterback Ayden Lester passing for 129 passing yards and one touchdown. On defense, Farmington held Harding Academy to just 152 total yards. Farmington will play Robinson in the second round on Friday.

🏈 Fayetteville Frenzy. Fayetteville football took down Pulaski Academy, 58-22, to advance to the second round of the 7A playoffs — and set up a meeting with Bryant. The Bulldogs were able to capitalize on both sides of the ball, forcing three interceptions early in the game. Junior quarterback Hank Hendrix threw for 250 yards and four touchdowns, while senior running back Kaleb Johnson ran for 111 yards and two two scores of his own.

🏈 The Little Rock Christian Warriors made history Friday night, securing their first 7A playoff win with a 44-34 victory over Har-Ber. Sophomore quarterback Eli Robertson was unstoppable, rushing for three touchdowns and throwing for another, totaling 136 rushing yards and 190 passing yards. Senior running back Jackson Ward powered the run game with 220 yards on 29 carries and two scores. The Warriors built a 23-6 halftime lead and shot down a second-half push from the Wildcats, responding to every Har-Ber score with a quick touchdown drive.

🏈 Fayetteville receiver Charles Whitlow delivered a standout performance against Pulaski Academy, recording six catches for 97 yards and two touchdowns. In the Bulldogs’ dominant first half, Whitlow caught a 41-yard pass that helped Fayetteville maintain momentum in the 48-22 win over the Bruins.

🏀 The Farmington girls’ basketball team is 2-0 this season — and sophomore point guard Easton McCollough has played a pivotal role in the Lady Cardinals’ success. In Farmington’s 72-41 win over Mountain View, McCollough put up a staggering 31 points to go along with six assists and six rebounds.

🏈 Football fans — we have yet another round of exciting playoff games this week, and things are heating up in Central Arkansas! The Conway Wampus Cats stay home Friday, hosting Bentonville West. Bryant also has home-field advantage, facing the undefeated Bentonville Tigers. Little Rock Christian has to hit the road to play Rogers, while the Benton Panthers will head to Mountain Home to face the Bombers. In the 5A bracket, Little Rock Parkview gears up to host the Harrison Goblins.
