🎙️ Fighting Through It. The Bentonville Lady Tigers are starting conference play without their star, Jensen Thrasher, but they are stepping up in her absence. We’re talking with head coach Tom Halbmaier. Plus, after helping his team fend off a comeback attempt from Rogers last week, Sophomore Jabarih Washington is our Lindsey Boys Athlete of the Week.

 🏀 Conference Clash. Bentonville basketball hits the road tonight to face Rogers Heritage in the first week of conference play. The Tigers have started the season at 8-7 with one 6A win under their belt. Most recently, Bentonville took down Southside in a 73-59 win. Rogers Heritage is coming off of a tough 75-45 loss to Fayetteville. Tipoff is set for 7:30 pm and can be watched here.

🐶 Purple Dog Pride. Fayetteville senior DJ Hudson put on a show with six slam dunks and 27 points in the Bulldogs’ 75-45 win over Rogers Heritage. Fayetteville started the game hot with a 15-0 run in the second quarter. Sophomore Mitch Kirkland was electric, scoring 24 points, while Fayetteville’s defense set the tone, preventing Rogers Heritage from any comeback.

⛹️‍♀️ Northside’s girls basketball wasted no time in conference play with a dominant 57-31 win over Springdale. Northside turned on the afterburners in the second half with a 19-point second quarter and a 24-point third quarter to seal their win. Senior Camryn Schmidt scored 19 points with 14 rebounds to lead the Lady Grizzlies. Northside showcased its depth, size, and defensive ability — and now sits at 13-2 on the season.  

🏀 Senior Jabarih Washington delivered an impressive performance, leading Har-Ber with 19 points in a tight 78–75 win over Rogers. A crucial shot in the fourth quarter helped push the Wildcats’ lead to 17, before Har-Ber held on for the win. Washington set the tone for Har-Ber and ultimately helped his team escape Mountie Arena with a hard-earned victory.

⛹️‍♀️ Senior Whitley Rogers continues to prove why she’s one of the top-ranked players in the state this season. The Arkansas commit and No. 1-ranked prospect in the class of 2026 showcased her elite talent and consistency, leading Little Rock Christian Academy with dominance and control on both ends of the court.

🏈 Little Rock Christian Academy hosts Bryant basketball today in a huge Central Arkansas matchup. Little Rock Christian holds a 10-5 record and two conference wins this season, looking to add another one to the win column. Arkansas commit J.J. Andrews has been injured, but the Warriors will have him back on the court this week. Bryant has an impressive record of their own, getting off to a 13-2 start. Tipoff is set for 7:00 pm and the game can be watched here.
