Let’s dive right in!

🎙️ Varsity Vibe Today. Alyssa Orange breaks down the boys and girls athletes of the week and dives into the mission behind Bridges Therapy Group’s SRD program. A part of what makes Sport Recovery & Development unique is the multi-disciplined approach. Their team is made up of PTs, OTs, Personal trainers and Athletic trainers which allows them to complete a well-rounded program for each athlete they see.

⛹️‍♀️ Farmington Fight. Farmington girls basketball continued its dominance, picking up their sixth win of the season following a 74-41 win over Mills University Studies. Sophomore Easton McCollough was strong on the court, finishing the game with 20 points, 10 assists, and eight rebounds. The Lady Cardinals have looked strong this season, remaining undefeated as they continue through the season.

🐈 Cat Fight. Springdale Har-Ber’s girls put on a show against Little Rock Central, never trailing in a 70–43 win. The Lady Wildcats jumped ahead early with a 28-point first quarter and controlled the pace throughout the game. Makenlie Campbell led Har-Ber with 16 points, while twin sister Madisen Campbell posted her second double-double of the year with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Gracie Davenport added 15 points and Syniah Coachman finished with 14.

🏆 State Champs. Competitive cheer wrapped up this weekend — and we have a new round of state champs! In the coed division, Pea Ridge took the 1-4A top spot and Bryant won the 5-6A crown. Sheridan took the 5A All-girl championship, while Fayetteville beat out Conway for the top spot in the 6A.

🏀 The Bryant Hornets are buzzing, racking up a third-straight win with a 84-47 victory over the Bentonville Tigers. It was their fourth win this season by 20 points or more, with senior Camarion Bead shooting 21 points and nine assists. Senior Spencer Ruff scored 24 points. Bryant’s teamwork only helped their success, tallying 25 assists as a team.

🏀 Bentonville West’s Landon Price has proven to be a valuable asset to the Wolverines this season, averaging 15.8 points, six rebounds, and two assists per game so far. Last season, Price averaged 15.7 points and 7.4 rebounds, remaining on track to repeat his all-state honors. He recently reached a major milestone, scoring his 1,000th career point against Marion — an impressive feat for a sophomore.

⛹️‍♀️ Pea Ridge senior Makena Ward continues to be a dominant presence for the Lady Blackhawks, averaging a double-double in league play last season. Ward’s power on the court helped lead Pea Ridge to a convincing 63-40 win over Huntsville, making her a key force in the Lady Blackhawks’ success.

⛹️‍♀️ Little Rock Central’s Lady Tigers look to bounce back, hosting out-of-state opponent Longview (TX) on Dec. 29. Central has gotten out to a solid start this season with several decisive wins to build their 5-4 record. Last time out, senior E’lyse Williams led Central with 10 points. Longview holds a 13-1 record this season.
